I have a question for library staff, how can I contact you?

Email: library@wodonga.vic.gov.au

Phone: 02 60229330

Facebook: Direct message facebook.com/wodongalibrary

We are prioritising the offering of remote assistance where possible to limit the number of people in the library space.

I have items on loan, when will they be due back?

New items borrowed from the library will have the standard four-week loan period. If you are wishing to keep your items longer please renew them online or contact library staff to request an extension.

Can I return items?

Our external chute will continue to be open 24/7 for returning items. We are required to quarantine incoming items, so please don’t be concerned if it takes a few days for items to come off your account. If you are unwell, we ask you do not return your items.

Can I still place holds on items I want to request?

You can place requests on Wodonga Library items and on items from across the Libraries Victoria system. There are some minor delays on items coming from other libraries due to quarantine requirements. Please wait until you’ve been notified an item is ready for collection or call ahead if you are unsure.

Why are items I have returned still on my account?

We are required to quarantine any returned items for a minimum of three days. Please disregard overdue statuses or notices for recently returned items that may be in quarantine. If an item is still showing on your account after five days or your account has been blocked, please contact staff.

I want to access the online library (eBooks, audio books, video streaming and digital magazines). What are my login details?

Your user id is your membership number, printed under the barcode on your library card. You need to use the whole number, with no gaps. Your pin was set up when joining the library.  If you’re unsure, try using the last four numbers of your user id. If this doesn’t work, contact us and we can reset it for you.

First time users of our eResources will have to register with each subscription service using their library account information and an email address.

Can I use the library as a space to study or to sit and read?

In line with Victorian Government regulations, the space is open to facilitate access to the collection of items only. We appreciate members keeping their visits brief, to use their time in the library to select their items, borrow and move on. Due to capacity and physical distancing limits, we have a time limit of 30 minutes in the space per a visitor. We currently don’t have study spaces or furniture for seating available.

What is happening with events and programs, such as Storytime?

Due to limits on people gathering, all library events in the space are currently suspended. We are offering alternate programing online through our Facebook page so make sure you’re following for the latest updates.
