From Wednesday, September 23 “Click and Collect” holds pick-up will be available between 10am and 6pm weekdays and 9am to 12pm Saturdays.
This service is for library members to borrow items that they have requested and are available for them to collect. At this stage there is no printing, public computers or browsing available.
Members can place holds online through our website or app and will be contacted when they are ready. If you would like items chosen on your behalf, please contact staff ahead of time so we can have a selection of items prepared for you.
You are still able to return items from outside though the returns chute. While we are continuing to quarantine incoming items, we do ask that if you have been unwell that you hang on to your items. We’re happy to give you an extended loan time as needed.

Is the library open?
From Wednesday, September 23 the library will reopen with a limited service.
We will resume our normal opening hours of between 10am-6pm weekdays and 9am-12pm Saturdays.
What services will be available?
Click and Collect – borrowing will be available through holds pick up only. Members with items previously on hold will be notified again that there are items available for them.
Placing holds- new items can be requested online through the website with a current library membership. Currently holds can only be placed on items belonging to Wodonga Library. You will be notified when your requested items are ready for collection.
What safety measures are in place?
Person limits- we will be observing social distancing and limiting the number of people in the space. For families please consider sending just one person inside to collect your items to help us maintain these limits.
Entering the library- on entry into the space we require your library card to be scanned. Non-members will need to supply a name and phone number. By entering this space you consent to your information being used for contact tracing if requested. We also require everyone to use hand sanitiser and wear a mask on entry into the library.

I have items on loan, when will they be due back?
Items currently on loan have been extended. New items borrowed from the library will have the standard four week loan period. If you are wishing to keep your items longer please renew them online or contact library staff to request an extension.
Can I return items?
Our external chute will continue to be open 24/7 for returning items. We are required to quarantine incoming items, so please don’t be concerned if it takes a few days for items to come off your account. If you are unwell we ask you do not return your items.
Can I still place holds on items I want to request?
You are able to place holds on items that belong to Wodonga Library only. As deliveries around the state have paused indefinitely, at this time you are unable to place holds on items from other libraries. Keep track of the items you are after, and we will let people know when requests reopen.
I want to access the online library (eBooks, audio books, video streaming and digital magazines). What are my login details?
Your user id is your membership number, printed under the barcode on your library card. You need to use the whole number, with no gaps. Your pin was set-up when joining the library- if you’re unsure try using the last four numbers of your user id. If this doesn’t work, contact us and we can reset it for you. What is happening with events and programs, such as Storytime?
All library events in the space are suspended until further notice. We are offering alternate programing online through our Facebook page so make sure you’re following for the latest updates.
